My mentorship services provide a unique and personalized approach to guiding early career choral directors. By offering expert advice and compassionate support, I empower you to transform your uncertainties into confidence, ensuring you not only succeed but thrive in your conducting roles. You don't have to do it alone!
Growing up, everyone knew me as the pianist, but I knew I wanted to be on the podium and so even throughout all my years training as a pianist, I started directing choirs since my teenage years (that’s a long time ago!) and never really stopped!
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of performing as a pianist in Canada and Europe, as well as working and collaborating as a conductor with both professional and amateur ensembles, bringing excellence and expertise to every performance. My journey has taken me from the vibrant city of Toronto, Canada, through Munich Germany, to the US mainland and to the serene shores of Hawaii.
In the past two decades, my work on the Island of Hawaii has provided me with invaluable opportunities to conduct the Oahu Choral Society, Hawaii Symphony, local churches, high schools and colleges on the island.
These experiences have left a profound impact on my passion for choral orchestral masterworks and chamber choirs as artistic director.
Beyond the podium, I am an avid traveler, exploring the world with my husband on medical missions. I find joy in cooking, reading, and savoring a good cup of coffee on my lanai. Before each concert, you’ll find me quiet on the beach, and in awe and wonder of God’s creation.
